About Me

My whole life I have been apart of the Christian culture. I grew up knowing that God was the creator and that Jesus was my savior. I was very lucky to have a family that was involved in church and made faith a big part of our lives. As great as that was it has made it very challenging at times for me to understand others who do not yet have the saving grace that God offers us freely.

I decided to go into vocational ministry shortly after graduating high school. While attending The University Of Akron and getting my degree in Mass Media Productions, I volunteered at The Chapel in the Jr High ministry. It was here that I developed a love for students and the Creative arts part of ministry. I volunteered for 5 years helping the ministry by co-leading the worship band and assisting in the production of youth services. I came on staff as an intern after graduation from The University Of Akron and was a staff member for 2 1/2 years. In October 0f ‘07 I found a job as a youth pastor at a church in Clinton, Ohio. Over my short time there I found that my passion was stronger for the technical part of ministry than I had originally thought. Through many weeks of prayer and conversation I left the church in Clinton, Ohio to help in the start of Velocity Christian Church.
